Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock – ipn (11: Resource temporarily unavailable)

While doing apt-get update facing the issue that packages are not able to update.Getting the following error,

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock – open (11 Resource temporarily unavailable)
E: Unable to lock the administration directory (/var/lib/dpkg/) is another process using it?

Even any new packages are not able to install.This might be issue that some broken repos or packages that interrupt the process to update.

Solution:

If you have sudo user use the sudo account otherwise login as root and execute the commands,

#rm /var/lib/apt/lists/lock
#rm /var/cache/apt/archives/lock
#rm /var/lib/dpkg/lock

After execute the above commands run #apt-get update
