How To Generate Hosting Account Backup In the server
Description:
I want to generate one user hosting account with current data and settings.Later I will restore the same backup in some-other server.
Solution:
-Log in to the server with root account.
-Type the following command in the prompt
/scripts/pkgacct username
-It will generate a backup .tar.gz file.
– If you want to restore the backup in the same server use the following command.
/scripts/restorepkg username(or).tar.gz file name
– In case same account in the other server copy the .tar.gz file into home director and use the following command
/scripts/restorepkg .tar.gz file name.
