Here is the simple steps to resolve the issue.
Clear the browser history and cookies in local system.In some cases it will stuck-up with the file download.Most of the user will install java from online portal.While download cache or local Temporary file may interrupt file download.
If still facing the same issue use the offline Java download.Before start this process clear the previous Java TEMP folder.
Use the below links based on system operating system bit rate,
32-bit: javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=81819
64-bit: javadl.sun.com/webapps/download/AutoDL?BundleId=81821
Download the above file and install it.Java will install successfully in local system.

I did the offline Java install for 32 bit version – jre-7u45-windows-i586-iftw.exe. It didn’t solve the problem in my case. I am still getting the same error msg. Can u help?
Check the bit version of the windows once.If you are still facing the same issue clear the previous java installer in the system.

when I install jdk-7u45-windows-x64.exe. It will raise error message as Error 1335. The cabinet file’sj 170 450′ required for this installation is corrupt and can not be use. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the cd-rom,or a problem with this package
Your download is not done correctly.While installing it will extract the files in Temp location.In that .cab files are missed it seems.Try to update service pack.It will resolve your issue.

Finally do not understand what someone please explain to me
I tried using this but did not solve my problem. After downloading ex from the above link when i open the exe it says not a valid win32 prograam. i have downloaded both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions still the same problem. my OS is 64 bit
Did you tried with the 64bit version download and install.Which Operating system are you using.
Same problem as “By nitin”. Using Windows 8. Any suggestions.
Check the latest updates in windows 8.It will resolve the issue.
