Nokia And Airtel Combined For Free 3G Data To Nokia X Buyers

 

NEW DELHI: The X giant in handsets firm Nokia has partnered with country’s leading business tycoon Bharti Airtel to offer 500 MB free data for three months for their new customers of its latest handset Nokia X Android –powered Smartphone.

The customers who are 2G can enjoy the same benefits offered by the company, said the maker of handset.

The Nokia X was launched in India with the price of Rs.8,599, and it is seriously trying for the product’s popularity in the competitive Smartphone market.

Nokia India Director Oza said” This deal emphasize our Nokia’s partners in the world to deliver our best services”.

After the 500 MB data exhaustion, users will be charged 3 paise per 10 KB for 3G and 10 paise per 10 KB in 2G users.Customers who insert a first SIM in a new Nokia X device can avail this offer for both new and existing SIM users and this offer is valid only for the customers who bought the handsets till June 30,2014.

Bharti Airtel CEO of data devices Karthik Sheth said” India is one of the most leading countries in adoption of Smartphones and this would be one of the adorable offer to purchase their Nokia X device.”

Nokia launches affordable smart phones ‘Nokia X’ which at the Mobile World Congress which was held in February have run the software of Google’s Android Apps.

Nokia’s future handsets Nokia X+ is priced around Rs.8400, Nokia XL for Rs. 9200 and Nokia X around Rs.7500.By the month of May new devices Nokia X+ and Nokia XL would be launched in the Indian Smart phone market.

As per the IDC data India has become the World’s largest country in the smart phones market with increased users of 44 million in 2013 which the number was 16.2 million in 2012.

This vast development is because of the home vendors like Micromax, Karbonn and Lava have entered in the Smartphones market and  selling them at the price less than Rs.3,000.

IDC also admitted the reason for this huge growth is also because of the narrow price range between the Smartphones and feature phones.

The Nokia’s new launched model Nokia X is a 4-inch device which is powered by 1 GHz dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a tile based design,512 MB RAM, an expandable memory up to 32 GB with 3MP camera and 1500mAH battery life.Nokia X which is an Android based where the users cannot access the Google’s app market ‘Google Play’, they have to get it by the third party app such as Microsoft app store.
