Orkut  well known name before Facebook populate in social networking website.Orkut is Google product that will be going to shutdown from 30th September.Users who is have the profile and posts in Orkut should export the data immediately.As service will be switchedoff user cannot get the backup comments and posts in Orkut .

Orkut  and Facebook was started in 2004 year.Initially Orkut  got very popular and users started to create own communities and almost who have gmail account all are used Orkut.Later days due to tough competitions Orkut is not able t stand and not workout on new features established on the social networking.But Facebook lead the social market and cameup with new ideas in the form of Facebook pages ans auto alerts.

Later days Google developed Google+ to continue the social networking for the Gmail users.Google+ also got good craze more than Orkut.So Google decided to continue the social networking platform from Google+ instead of Orkut.Now today is the last day for ORKUT.
